Re: Pedro's Journal !
DAX30m1 Cherry BE 0% : DS0 : this one was a mess, connection was lagging hard and I didnt see exactly how that went due to feed gap but anyway shouldnt have had auto on due to divergence and being far into w3 but was hoping for a 5 of 3.. well if it wasn't for the connection problem it would be profitable since auto put the entry way above the usual margin. DS0 for the shaky analysis and not being confident of it plus bending the rules.

Re: Pedro's Journal !
another 20 batch:
7x BE 0% = 0%
5x TP 2% = 10%
8x SL -1%= -8%
Total = +2%
DS score= 18/20 : Discipline still good and it was a hard period with lots of daily loses and many patient days being negative most of the time, but the focus is on discipline and it would definitely be huge losses without keeping it up.
BE analysis: I used the BE+1 pip atm feature during this batch and the results were:
pips gained/lost when BE achieved:
+0.9
-0.3
+0.9
+0.4
-5.8
-0.4
+1.0
total = -3.3 pips
This was due to that huge slippage that gave me -5.8 pips once otherwise it would be 2 or 3 pips positive, I think the +1 pip setting is ok for now, if there's still loses due to slippage next batch ill consider increasing it a bit, without that setting we would be seeing slippage loses of around -8.6 pips.

Re: Pedro's Journal !
Congratulations on achieving 90% score . Its a massive step forward. It does not matter whether the outcome was positive or negative, and actually being negative and still completing your DS campaign is one victory on top of that , you've achieved 18 out of 20, that is real victory. If you do a few more batches like so, you will become a PRO. And then you will be able to trade Any System... then trading systems would start to look good in your hands...acceleratum wrote:another 20 batch:

ps: BE plus 1, not really a big profit maker for this TM ... though it would be useful when we start to lok for 3:1 so we could use it to lock in 5 pips e.g. if we have bring SL to BE at 1.5R we can then use this... etc
cheers

Re: Pedro's Journal !
Thanks for input, I am getting better and keeping it up during the end of January was hard but furthers my confidence for the future, the BE plus 1 I'm using simply to fight the slippage since I do get a lot of it, my goal is for the BE's to be around 0% instead of slowly draining my results to the negative. Now lets focus on next batch! =)immy wrote:acceleratum wrote:

Re: Pedro's Journal !
Don't worry about slippage and stuff. Focus on training yourself to be disciplined. We can then later find you very good brokers so that you can convert your discipline into really powerful trading and convert small amounts of initial capital into several multiples ... that's the plan.
