Re: Dave from Sydney's Journal [Awarded Title: the Box-Trade
I have a mental understanding of this concept, once i tried to discusss with Steve but words did not show loyalty at that time. Basically, I'd consider a signal to be iffy or weaker under the following circumstances
1. In an uptrend, when the new darker tones is lower than the previous darker tone,
2. In a downtrend if the new darker tone is higher than the previous,
i'd be careful taking those signals.
i hope i'm not too "intoxicated" to have understood and replied correctly.... cheers

Daylight savings is over so I'm lucky to make a LO even once or twice a week. Still here lurking and chipping away and I'll have some chart photos when I'm trading :-bd

Re: Dave from Sydney's Journal [Awarded Title: the Box-Trade
Found a trade yesterday after I got home from work..... +1
And today's session is already 2 hrs old so this is how I "would" have traded it, had I been home. My set of rules are slightly different to those that others may use. Like MZ I prefer to be active. My entry rules for M1 and M5 are exactly the same. The difference is that an M1 setup is triggered by the break of a candle whereas an M5 setup is triggered by an M1 break of AIMS OR the break of an M5 candle, whichever allows the smaller stop loss.
1. Pullback for an AIMS level, new eWave peak, open alligator, price outside alligator, away from purple, -10, -1R
2. Pullback for an AIMS level, new eWave peak, no pullback divergence, open alligator, price outside alligator, away from purple, +28, +2R
3. Pullback for an M5 AIMS level, new M5 eWave peak, M1 stepping back, open M5 alligator, price outside M5 alligator, probably just missed 2:1 by a fraction, +11 at worst, +0.8R

Re: Dave from Sydney's Journal [Awarded Title: the Box-Trade
Without trying to fix what ain't broke.... Has anyone looked into the same DAX method but on US30 at US market open time? Trying to find a way to make myself available even though I'm frequently missing LO.
Thanks
