When to cut the loser?

Unread post by naqviimran »

HI AIMS Masters:

Thanks for your support in getting hold of the system. However, need your help in cutting short the losers.

I had entered a trade today with all 3 rules met on the classic setup 1 and M5 looked good. When was I suppose to cut this loser? For how long are we suppose to the consider the initial SL, particularly when the trade keeps making different AIMS boxes after coming down following a buy trade. The attached pictures explain my story. Pls help understand me better.

If you're following the usual Setup 1 plan, or Grants flow chart, as a rule, black dot, i.e. close below green line or break of AIMS is your exit.

ps: on a gap like this, when you have so many other options to look at, I won't even trade that pair/stock etc. Gaps don't fit well with Gator.

Just saw my last reply and that chart... man its a pure example of WHY you should NOT trade equity charts on m1. And Equity charts in India? I have no idea how they work. But man look at that chart. its got absolutely no information no edge.

There are multiple exits in AIMS, you may pick what fits you and your mentality. I was using Green Line in the beginning, Now using RED Line.
