I do struggle taking the Boxeeds when there isn't a break and a pullback, like setup 1 style or Hunt, because I love the fractal geometry of those signals. I was trying to filter a bit so I was taking more of the 'higher probability' setups but this often means I don't take a trade for a day or two. I gather this isn't what Boxeeds are about so either I just go for virtually every Boxeed setup or change to setup 1 and Hunt.

What I will say though is that I am glad I have changed from M1 to H1 - I can see the many benefits of this now! :)

I shall have a think and let you know. :-bd

Daily update: 20/10/2012

Not the best trading days for me, because i relaxed my open rule to take seeds counter trend. i usually require atleast one up open to take a counter trend seeds and vice-versa.

Both UJ and EU resulted in RENT..NEXT. Plan to keep pulling triggers on good smaller seeds.

Adding more: I found that keeping 10 days of data on H1 chart is good for identifying trend. When my GU chart got screwed because of the spike i just kept it away for 10 days. Now i'm back in GU. I might have missed opportunities but at-least i can look at a clear picture with sufficient data now.

We are trying to Catch the Daily Trend with Small Risk. We might pay small rents many times to catch 25% winners in one go. This is the millionaires way of trading. Most retail traders take trading for a job. "i don't take signals for a day or two"... "i won't take rents again" ... "i think i'm paying too much rent"... these are all short sighted comments and do not have a solid backing of probabilistic mindset. PP is trying to reduce rents, that is NOT how you make money. :) its about ALLOWING YOUR TRADES TO GROW IN TO BIG TREES... you don't chose which SEED will grow into a big tree, you just sow the seed, and once you see the plant, you then identify is it and nurture it to GROW... hence the word SEED... Thousands of Seeds may create hundreds of plants.

Thanks PP - understood now! :)

I can see how profitable this method can be if you let the trades run, but maybe my problem is I haven't had a runner yet as I filtered or missed some of the trades that Immy has taken! ~X(

A fantastic Pinbar type OB

Very minimum risk yet a HUGE price action move suggesting ALL the area (the tail) is FREE of buyers... the spike up just Sucked in Massive Sell orders.
