Immy...i would like to post some learning for the record here. I may be wrong on some of those as these are observations
1. If I miss a seed it may result in large changes to your equity. W/L ratio is low and sometimes the large winner if skipped will affect your profits. i have missed many winners.
2. When i was trailing 20SMA on daily i was giving back lot of profits, almost all because markets were in sideways trend on daily. In Sept and Oct, I was trailing Daily 20SMA or Redline and i gave up all my profits.
3. Since Nov, i am trailing H1 box and keeping profits. It results in not exploiting full trend. How ever the equity is still positive and it helps in keeping positive mindset.
4. We need a better mechanism to trailing I am working on a method, if i find value i shall put it here.

Update 14/12/2016

Not good trading yesterday. Don't plan to repeat this ever :-)
Traded completely against the trend. I usually look at trend over the last 10 days. Plus there was not much momentum and we were going into news so everybody was on the sidelines. Have written notes on charts for future reference of what not to do.

Gu was more of side ways in the last 10 days. It showed some initial momentum so this was a probably trade.

UJ was a no short trade and trend was clearly up. I was not attentive to the trend.

On EU too the trend was clearly down and I was not attentive to trend.

Overall a day to forget :D

PP... you're not a Trend follower... remmber this...

Trend following is AIMS Setup 1... :) and Setup 2... even the hunt can be classed as trend following but not really.

what you are doing is trading breakouts before a trend forms... you gotta understand this. you rely on big winners so your poor win rate is of no importance... you might be looking at 15% win rate, 35% break evens and 50% losers... but you'll still double your account every year... thats the type of trading you are doing... :)

btw: what is your growth rate for now?

Not following the trend as such. But when i'm going against the primary trend "i am looking for a strong breakout before i can take the trade", which i clearly did not do on 14th.

What i think i'm doing is assuming a trend direction - Keep taking seeds all along until i see a strong move on H1 to the opposite side.
When i see the opposite move, i try to get in and assume that is the direction. It may move or end up in a range. If it ends up in a range i again wait for strong move before i can get in.

Q:I think i'm following the system properly, I might be wrong ? Your views awaited Immy.

Dec growth rate is 2% now.
