What is the Secret of Successful Trading?
The Consistent Pursuit of DS1
The thing that makes me money in trading is when I "Objectively Follow my Trading Plan".
I understand that I can't catch all the moves or all the signals but my objective is to catch THE VALID SIGNALS & ONLY the Valid Signals.
My Deathbed Advice "5:1 Reward to Risk Ratio".

Three new service levels in my business proposition
CHEAP FAST GOOD
You can only choose 2 of the 3
If it's cheap and fast it won't be good
if it's cheap and good it won't be fast
if' it's fast and good it won't be cheap
Your choice Mr Client.

Re: Ray's amnesty page
In many cases that sure is universal truth Ray. To be slightly pessimistic it's not even client's choice. For masses TV marketing defines what people "need" and want to buy.
However, I like to think there's a better approach. Combine cheap, fast and good to one approach: close enough. Close enough can mean different things for different people but for me close enough means cheap enough, fast enough and good enough. People should shut down TV and pick that one ~o)

Re: Ray's amnesty page
I do agree, I've had a week of it though........... A client who wants fast, whom I visited 4 weeks ago this morning on a non-trading day to do urgent business, at 12 hours' notice but who still hasn't sent back all his contract documentation and wonders why nothing has happened.........A client who found the gold medal award solicitor who was meant to be cheap but who subsequently messed up his lease agreement and it's now in the hands of a barrister and an expensive law firm to un pickle .etc etc etc.
Cheap, Fast, Good, or optimum, "your near enough" perhaps which is a compromise, a fudge eh? But we have to try and get a bit more than 2 out of the 3 components of the service levels in order to achieve satisfaction.
I agree about TV
hence this other picture which I think is good

Further to this article (Reuters) http://in.reuters.com/article/india-gol ... NKBN13E09I
there's an argument going round that India might ban imports of gold.
They buy 700 tons/year

If they stop, bang goes the gold price ! ?

Yes what a rout
I often wonder why we spend time looking at all the other 109738 indicators and 338178973 ways of trading them when we have S1 to go by.

Re: Ray's amnesty page
Have a Happy Christmas folks, and a brilliant year in 2017
What more are we looking for? I keep thinking about my 1% a day roll up calculations. Whereby an account can be multiplied by 11 in a year.
Surely we know how.
S1 classic set ups. Breakouts of S&R , especially at the same time as the next TF up. Far less subjective than all the diagonal trend lines people on other sites seem to imagine. I've been poked with enough Andrews' pitchforks in my time!
And the right MM and discipline!
That's a good enough system for me, just got to stick to the PLAN !

Re: Ray's amnesty page
I thought I'd signed off for Christmas yesterday, however I had email from the illustrious SNorm today as below. I wondered if his strategy was being discussed anywhere on here?
Festive Seasons Greetings to All
After far too many years in development and testing, eWavesHarmonics (eWH) is now available to purchase.
eWH incorporates everything that I use for trading, so I need no other indicator to make informed technical trading decisions; on any timeframe. The Beta users have given terrific feedback about the tool, reporting some superb trades. If you’ve been bogged down with cluttered-screens and too many indicators, you should find eWH to be a game-changer.
Click here for more info: http://www.for-exe.com/ewavesharmonics.html
I wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and an amazingly successful 2017.
All the very best to you
Steve
