Re: AIMS The Hunt - The Science of Fractal Geometric Trading
I'd like to say 2 things.
1. This Topic serves as the Manual for Hunt. I have spend the last few days refining it so that everyone can read this topic and understand The Hunt Strategy. So please have a read. Its a NEW Topic.
2. In the interest of keeping this thread short and precise i have locked replies to it. We will start a separate thread for the purposes of showing example trades, trades already taken, and Questions from other users.
cheers

AIMS The Engulfing Apple
The Engulfing Apple is a Strong Apple Signal. The Apple Signal covers the range of the previous bar and is usually quite bigger compared to previous bars. Here is an Example of Bullish Engulfing Apple

The Scope of a Price Bar and its Effects
The Scope of a Price Bar and its Effects
In this following graph I give information about the scope of a reversal bar formation. e..g a PB or OB Fruit.
A signal on the daily chart will have time based validity. The probability of prices following in that direction will diminish with time. Its not a scientific finding for now but my observation is that a bar formation signal such as OB or PB will have effects that lasts, in time horizon, from 1-10 dya.s WE are interesting in the effects in the immediate day or two. Likewise if there is a bar on h1, its effect will most likely last the next few hours to upto the following day.
Following is an example Now if you check the H1 chart below you'll see a PB fruit was created YD and prices did indeed followed suit in the next session. (A PB fruit is a Pin Bar type Fruit)

The Monarch Pattern Fractal Geometry
The following pictures are taken from the AUD/USD H1 and M15 charts on the 12 Jan 2017. It shows the fractal geometry of The Monarch pattern on AO. This shows why we like this pattern. We love our Setup 1 pattern in to the Wave 5 and this is another way of spotting those waves. THE HUNT strategy is Based on this pattern.
Once you've spotted it on your chart (or if you're reading it sometimes in the future then check the spoiler below to reveal the m15 chart)

Stage 1 : Fixed Stop Losses Guidlines [Draft]
I have finalised a study of most favourable Fixed Stop Loss in pips that would suit the the main pairs we trade on H1.
The Stop loss in pips are for the following pairs only and for H1 only.
EUR/USD: 30
USD/CAD: 30
USDCFH: 30
AUD/USD: 30
NZD/USD: 30
EUR/GBP: 30-20
USD/JPY: 40 (30 if volatility is Low)
GBP/USD: 40
GBP/JPY: 50
Eur/JPY: 40-50
Gold: 5 Points
so: if you go for Fixed Stop Loss option then you will go for a setup where you have at lease twice as much as your stop loss between your Entry Level and TZ1. 1R is Stop Loss in Pips.. .2R is simply the SL multiplied by 2. i.e. 2R.
