Trading

Unread post by Jmaul »

I just started a demo account with Metatrade using FDXX. They have a 40 point (4 pics) limit for pending orders, which is usually well outside the AIMs levels, so can't use pending orders. Should I look at asking them about switching to Alpair?
Also, are your AIMS indicators and templetes available on stock trading platforms (Think or Swim, OptionsXpress, etc.), and how would I access them?

Hi John , For scalping I am just moving to a MT4 broker as my current platform can sometimes be as much as two pips out from what I am seeing on Aims . I opened with InterTrader as Eur/US was only one pip fixed spread , but I have since found out that pending orders have to be 10 full pips away from market price , This for Aims trading is unacceptable , I am now going to move to Alpari as it is 1.6 spread but only 2 pips pending order to market. A friend of mine on Aims trades via Alpari and he has had no problems.
Do not think these indicators will work on anything other than MT4

I use Alpari US and have no issues using AIMS. Spread and distance are as you say. 1.6 and 2 pips respectively.

Thanks for the response all. Probably Immy will need to reply on whether there are any stock trading platforms that will accept the AIMs indicators. Thanks in advance.

Hi John ,
Alpari UK does include FTSE 100 stocks on its platform.
