And Finally I took the step to record my Journal,
I would like to Record my Dax30's Trades here … for the first T20 Batch …
I am going to do Just 1 pair Dax 30 for now LO and NYO (if possible)
5 mins chart and 1 Min chart … Daily risk of 2% max
Following the Flow Chart … hopefully I will be able to Immulate Immi :)
I missed the LO today … will again look at NYO … for now will read the Material once again … just to get the Idea again
If I missed some rules … please Inform me … open to suggestions :)

Hey Monish,

Its a great first step. but the most important thing is to understand that its a process. You have to update the journal DAILY. That way you will LEARN how to trade and CHANGE YOuR LIFE ....

Don't trade NY if trading Dax. just trade the open 2hrs MAX. Trading is Working are TWO different things. You don't have to work like office job to trade well. 2 Hrs trade time. 1 hrs journalling, backtesting and evaluation. That's it. Don't need to waste your life trying to "trade harder"...

My First Trade for the First batch of T 20 :


My learnings : I was so scared of the time frame … I did not calculate Lot Size … and Risked only .25 of my equity … and while placing trade I realized … no need to be so scared … 5 mins time frame does give us enough time to place the trade after the entry signal … so I can relax …

secondly I didn't look ah H1 … just m5 … and took a reverse trade …
Question : is that ok ? or should I keep an eye on the larger time frame ? … I will re visit the material once again …
Result of the Trade : it closed … with profit … so that was fun … and quick … kind of gave me satisfaction … I always believed in long time frame trades … but this is much better … Thank You Immi for this learning
Decipline Point: 1 (I guess cause I followed the Strategy and placed my SL and TP correctly … irrespective of my fears ) hope I am correct …
please correct me if I am wrong …

Hi

Point 1: Entry should have been on the earlier box low, that would have made it easier to hit 2R since SL would have been tighter
Point 2: whether you should look at H1 or not? this tells me that you did not work on the trading template. You don't have a properly worked out trading plan do you? if you do have a trade plan, this question should go in it. If you're trading M5 with Setup 1 rules, you'll only need to follow the Setup 1 rules which automatically looks after 5X HTF ... (i.e. purple)

the 5x time frame ... I did get confused the other day ... but then I went through all the Videos once again ... Now I am clear ... but thanks for clarifying again :)

My Second Trade Today ... Friday I didnt see any Entry so Didnt take ... Monday I Couldn't trade ... had some other work come up ... missed a good opportunity ... never the less I was here on time today ... Got a entry on NZDUSD and took it it just closed

Happy me :)

I am So Grateful for doing this exercise ... Thank You Immi :)
