immy wrote: 29 Jan 2021, 09:33Hey Emma

Been reading your journal with great interest. Some good work going on here. I commend you on this. And I can assure you that your understanding of the Setup 1 is spot on now. I think its is time you learn to apply a more robust Trade Management. One that allows you to extract profit from your good trades. We shall discuss in the chatroom when we get to meet next time

cheers and have a good weekend.

Ps: when you're ready, go over all of your good setup 1's and ask how could you have managed this trade differently, for stage 2 so that you could have extracted profit from it? It will give you some ideas. one hint: Small box = 2R hit easily.

Hi Immy!

I cannot thank you enough for all your encouragement, constructive criticism and help along my journey so far 😊

I feel more confident in the setup and i am ready for another challenge, to get more profits out of the market.

Hope you have a great weekend!

As i am about to add pullbacks i might as well start to record my thoughts about them as well.
At Lo the price broke out strongly followed by a seed. Would have been BE. (line 1)(line 2) Then i saw a pullback seed with the huntpattern. Would not have been triggered.
Right after it a doji is printed, but whit a blue dot so i ignored it.
After that the price went up and i waited for a setup 1. It had retraced deep, but could have been a 1 and 2. And i also saw that the price did not want to go into the premarket area at the moment..
The problem if a S1 is forming. H1 Level at 14041. If 2 R is inside it, go for it.
S1 came but with a huge box with no room for SL adjustments as the box low was too far away., so not taken.
I will wait fot the H1 level to break now.

But then we have the 14000 level below so i dont feel very optimistic atm.
Anything can happen so i will wait for movement. Up or down.

I am super exited to start trade pullbacks.
I will take the weekend to watch the lobot material again and add pullback rules in my plan.

First day of lobot

Unread post by eaxh »

First day of adding pullbacks into my plan.

I am a little nervous. To not know when the pullback ends. When is the last candle of the pullback?
I need to remember to have a dynamic mindset.
I am here to learn how to trade pullbacks, not do it perfectly before i have learned.
I will make misstakes, but not more than once!

I have trust in the edge and i have a strict risk management.

During today.
1.       10.09 good pullback, but inside the premarket range.
2.       I was looking for a clean pullback, so was unsure about this one.
3.       Third pullback and broken one. so keep me away from it.
4.       S1, missed it due to not being in lite witch the flowchart, but a good pullback on m5
5.       Momentum strong down. Seeing the waltz, but did not take it due to the 4 candles before it.
I was waiting for 1 or 2 more candles to pullback.

We had a very good discussion in the chatroom that clarified alot for me.
How the pullbacks today could have been traded.
Now i have a more solid execution plan.
Very greatful to have that opportunity!

Answer: The 3rd candle is the first candle you consider. the 5th candle is usually the last candle you consider for pullback.

I need to remember to have a dynamic mindset.

Answer: this is THE ONE. it is CLEAN.
3.       Third pullback and broken one. so keep me away from it.
4.       S1, missed it due to not being in lite witch the flowchart, but a good pullback on m5
Answer:yes, this was 5  candle pullback on m5. (remember this. 3 candle pullback is a setup 1 on 10X Lower Time Frame. 5-7 candle pullabck is a Setup 1 of the 5XLTF the WALTZ , which you're not taking yet, is a 1-2 candle pullback is a Setup 1 of 20X LTF)
5.       Momentum strong down. Seeing the waltz, but did not take it due to the 4 candles before it.
