Very incoherent evaluation but here it comes.

It took just over a month to complete this batch.
The result in both profits and discipline score makes me happy.I'm on the right track.

During this batch, I have had an ever-nagging worry about not doing the right thing.
My probabilistic thinking is in waves, like everything in life.
I have still been able to keep my fingers in check despite what my thoughts and concerns have said.
I've stuck to my rules and on the whole I'm very disciplined.

I have also noticed that the times I am unsure are under the conditions in the market that I have not yet encountered and may therefore not know how that particular situation stands in relation to my rules.
I have also noticed that the setups for which I have a good or neutral feeling are the ones that give the highest probability.
 For the upcoming batch,

I will do my best trust myself more and listen to my gut feeling.
Why do I have it? Is here something I'm missing? And therefore…

 -          Only trade when I'm reasonably stable in my psyche.

I am the kind of person who is high and low, here and there, my brain is ALWAYS on high speed or not at all... and it is a constant challenge to filter out what makes sense in the moment.

But all in all this batch has given me the feeling that I am well on my way.

I have also found out that i love the pullback setups. It is less information to take in and still i am trading the same wave.

As much as i like the clarity that the setup 1 template gives for the setup 1, it is blurring for me when it comes to the pullbacksetups.

I will try this coming batch to trade on the lobot template and ewave. the wave  will i use mainly to not trade when the m5 it too extended.

I will also update some rules, make them a little looser and stricter on the same time.
Will put more weight on how the market feels in mometum and volatility and less weight on the  small details.

When i am not in a good mood to trade i find myself with a tunnel vision and not in a state where i can see the whole picture clear.
Wich resault in filtering some really good ones and taking shitty ones because they look soooo good.

One thing that have helped me when i feel confused is to remember why i am doing this.
The main reason is that i want freedom to do whatewer i want with my time.

Hi Emma

Just read your review above. I am totally excited for you. You have put in hard work. And the result is right in front of you and us all.

HUGE congratulations. You deserve a treat.

I notice that you have only taken one DS0 trade and that happened to be the very first trade of the batch.
After that, you became the expert hunter. You watched your prey for hours and days. You stayed on the sidelines when you did not see it happening.
During all this batch you were in the chatroom. However quiet you are, your rather infrequent inputs are very valuable and to the point. (maybe a Scandinavian thing) :)

8.5% Growth?
You're on the way to becoming a Consistently Profitable Trader. Another batch like this and You're Stage 3.

I know that you have spent nearly a year in Stage 1 and then within 3 months, you're near Stage 3. All thanks to your hard work. In trading, hard work is only required during off-hours.

A few points I'd like to mention here.

A great idea that you have adapted the lobot template but you made it your own by deciding to keep the Wave indicator. And you chose to keep it not because "it felt good" not because of subjective unknown. But rather with a logical reason. You want to stay in tune with the waves. That is a great point. We don't want to trade pullbacks into extended waves. (the drawback of lobot method is the absence of this)
But I use lobot because I also have the following 3 rules that guide me.

They are explained more in detail elsewhere but as you know from our chatroom talks earlier. The 3 rules are
1. Range (or at CIP)
2. Breakout
3. 1st of 2nd Pullback

(3rd maybe too late but when its one of those days... then why not...)

For anyone else reading this reply, I will make a video on that in time and post it in my journal and relevant sections.

If you're using H2.0 Cherry , make sure you restrict max pips to 10 13 or 15 ... (I keep changing it but 13 is the best number. For Seed I keep it at 10. Always.

Hi!

I'm grateful to you for assuring me that I'm on the right path.
I am also thankful for all knowledge that u share everyday in the chatroom.

It was when i entered the chatroom that i really had to start focus on my own journey and i realised that i had to be way more disciplined and follow my own rules even more.

I am very exited to enter the 5th batch :)
I am going to follow my rules and i am going to do my best to continue with this awsome ds score :)

Thank u!

As always i have questions  :D

The pullbacks, are they only the clean ones with 3-5,6 candels, or are the ABC/ zigsag included as well.

The abc is almost always a broken pullback like when trading the original huntpattern with dark bars on AO.

Maybe this is a question i should answer myself as i am the one deciding what i am going to trade... :idk

Today there was an S1at LO, but triggered 2 minutes before LO so i missed it.
Then i waited for my pullback or a waltz to take. There was a seed 8:02 but did not take it, i was waiting for another candle.
Looks like a good walts now.
Then it reached a level and was struggling to get through, made a pullback. But did not take it due to the previous rejection at the level.
After that it stayed in the area, tried to test the level again but failed.
So now i am just waiting for another push down. And if that happens i will be ready to look for my signals again.
If it goes up i am not really sure how to handle it. Then it is abowe Lo, so that it good, but it is inside the premarket area…

Batch 5 Trade 1

Unread post by eaxh »

Trade Number: Batch 5 Trade 1
2. Date/Time: 2021-03-12 10:113. Symbol/TF: GER30/ M1

4. Signal Type / Direction : Setup 2 sell

5. Questions Before Trade is Taken:
a) How do I feel before setting the order? neutral
b) Intuitive Signal?  Neutral,  to be honest i was really hungry so i did not feel much but hunger…
c) Is this technically The Setup ?
yes, it is a pullback after a breakout of a consolidation. But took the break of fractal instead to be safer.

6. Post Trade Questions:
a) How Do I feel after closing the trade?good, not everyone is a winner
b) Have I done well and why? Yes, i was disciplined and waitedI got out because of lack of follow through. When it created a new fractal and did not manage to break through it i got out with a small loss.i think that was a good descicion.
c) Have done badly and Why?
d) What Could I have done differently?

7. DS For this Trade:  1
8. DS Running Total: 1/1 (100%) -0,5%

There was an S1 at the open, wich i took. I
t then reverse up, broke the FO and did a pullback. The order got cancelled.

That problem is sorted out with help from Immy. So that will not happen again.

This day could have been 4% up. Does not feel god, but i will not loose it.
The knowledge gained today is more worht than the profits at this moment.

Have looked into it. The first one was 0.0001 pip from being 2 R and reversed so fast and if i would have got out i would have been from fear and that is not how i want to trade so I´ll say NEXT and move on.

I have been feeling some fomo and fear lately and i DOING ALL I CAN to adopt probababilstic mindset.

b) Have I done well and why? Yes, i was  disciplined and did what the rules said.
c) Have done badly and Why?  Yes, i left 2 %, but i did not get an exit signal. And i did not want to get out of fear or just because…
d) What Could I have done differently?  not sure. I did not have the time to close on the ema/ it was BE, there where no level tested twice, no consecutive candle or fractal trailing.
