Today i was lucky. 
The news moved in my favor and gave me a positive slippage 
 

 

I need 2K to hit a target, so I was watching ... and I missed this... but then I caught the one on US30 going down for a quick 2K winner. well done emma

nothing really happened. It moved in a nice wave, but not really nor clean.

News at 16:00 and 20:00. 
Will check in later and look. I have at leat one more trade left today. 

Today something happened that have not happened in a long time. 
I hit my session DD.

It always triggers the thinking of "could i have avoided it?" or "can i in the future do different?".


What i can see it that the trades are in line with my plan and no further analysis is needed. I will evaluate in the end of the batch.

Imagine how I have felt the last 2 months. A person highly addicted to the high-paced environment, the focus of M1, the dopamine hits, the adrenaline and then going off entirely into a CALM numb world...

I have recovered though. It was TOUGH 6 weeks. 

Now the moment I feel the sense of Urgency, I back off. I sense something is wrong. Because, while I trade all day now, i.e. 8 or 10 hrs, I only look at charts as if I was looking for a bird outside my window. I look, quickly flick and make notes (critical) on post-it notes, and stick them to my laptop  or monitor. ... (because I forget).... e.g. DONT TOUCH USD/JPY helped me catch 7R trade. Don't touch GBP/USD helped catch the 7.1R trade. etc.
