I am a very visual person. I need to see things to understand them.
I always look at pics of what a setup can look like.
I have forgotten though to see the picture on hte HTF as well.
HTF is an extremly good base to start with. Aka. the context.
So i have gathered a sample of HTF and CTF pics to take high probability setups and not get tunnel vision on the current time frame (Trading timeframe)
I have used the 4/5 HTF for this.
1. Down here on the HTF we see a range, a break of that range, a pullback then a strong TC as a continuation.
Inside the HTF TC is a good impuls move and a cute little setup.
2. We see a impuls on the HTF, a pullback and a pullback broken with an TC. Inside it on the CTF we see a setup. I would not have taken it i think as it is not very cute. but not invalid either

Here we have a small break and retest on the HTF. A pullback broken with a TC and in the CTF we see a good impuls and a valid pullback. Second pullback so it is a go.

HTF - A impuls leg down, an wedge and that wedge/2 legged pullback is broken with a TC. Inside that a clean and cute setup on CTF.

No cute setups in this pic, here i have marked where it is ok to look for a setups. I can also see a HTF pullback in the middle of theese that i have marked.

Lets call this one a Double top reversal break on HTF. A small retest is made on the CTF. Though with the wicks there in the setup i would probably not have taken it. But context wise it is a OK one.

Here we have an example of a trend change. A HTF pullback in the other direction and a break of the levels to the left with a TC. On the CTF we see an impuls, not ideal but clean. I would probably thought it was a bit too wicky.

HTF - A 2 legged pullback, broken with a TC. A setup on the CTF.

This is just a small sample of all the pics i have in my collection, but they all show the same thing. An HTF pullbach that is broken with a trendcandle. It does not have to be more complicated than that.
