Aussie Mark's - T20 Trading Journal

Unread post by aussiemark »

 Hello everyone,

I'm Mark from Australia,
I have been trading for a few years now with very limited success,
From what i have learnt so far, keeping a trading journal seems to be imperative,
I have "never" kept a journal, ever.
So, this will be a new experience for me.
I am willing to give it a go, it may be a bit rough to start with,
but hopefully I will get the hang of it and look forward to see the results that follow

I have just finished the stage 1 of training and am now ready to start my trading batches
At present my trading time is very limited,
London Open is at 6pm, my time.

One of my initial questions, and im not sure if this is the right place to ask,
Is it possible to trade at any time, when the signals present themselves,
Obviously the Open, appears to be the best.

My Journal will be USD / JPY on M5 and I will be trading on demo

I look forward to meeting everyone in the group and sharing ideas and experiences

Mark

Hey Mark

Journaling seems to be KEY ingredient for success. IT has been proven over and over. Chances are, that in the next couple of weeks, you will stop doing it. Bet on beating the odds? lets find out.

To make a mark you have to struggle harder than the rest of us. To be ahead, you have to work harder than the others. Journaling is that little bit of hard work that turns a losing trader or a novice into a winning expert.

AUD/USD M1 NO GO... don't waste life on that.

If you want to trade the Setup 1 method on m1, then go for DAX at the London open, not AUD/USD simply because you are from Australia.  :p

99 out of 100 markets don't qualify for m1 time frame. Nothing moves enough within a minute to be considered for that time frame. Even the DAX40 , considered volatile market, does not qualify (volatility is not high enough) everday to be considered for the 1 minute time frame. But there are higher chances that at the open it will more volatile.

regards and all the best

Immy

Thanks Immy for your reply,

Unfortunately trading the London Open is a very rare occasion for me at the moment
due to work commitments.
I look forward to a day when it is  :thumbs

I only picked AUD / USD as it was one of the options in the training

Would you be kind enough to suggest an Instrument that I can trade to
learn the set up 1 and complete the batches then progress to stage 2 in due course.

I am not worried about making money at the moment,
more understanding and learning the system on demo account

Many Thanks,

Mark

Time frame 5 min
Trade EUR/USD GBP/USD and USDJPY
or chose Time frame 15m or m30 or H1.
Which ever time frame, use these pairs. Don't owrry about split screen. Just stick to one time frame. If lack of time, stick to h4 time frame, If choose H4 time frame, can do 6 or 8 pairs. Suggest check Vicky's journal.
