Paul's T20 Batch 3 Journal

Unread post by kxpgtech »

Today I started Batch #3 with a new FTMO 14 Days Trial Account. I will use this account exclusively for both Setup 1 and Banana Methods.
As in the end of Batch #2, I changed the AIMS Signal to Banana Signal in M5. But keep it in M1. In this batch, I will also practice how to trade the Banana Signal on M1 because I think that M5 is too slow for me. It took me a while to learn the Banana Method. However, I don't think that I understand it yet. It may take a lot of practice to know it in the details.

Trade 41
1. Trade Number: B3-T1 (Batch 3 Trade 1)
2. Date/Time: 12/16/2022 at 18:55.
3. Symbol/TF: US30 M1
4. Signal Type / Direction: Banana SELL
5. Comments and Feelings at the Time of Taking the Trade: The price broke out of the trading range (the red line in the chart) with 2 TC.  I decided to skip the first PB because of the level on the left. On the second PB, I placed a Sell Stop order for 47.05 Lots at P 32724.7, SL 32737.3, TP 32640.56, Risk 1%. The order was filled at 18.55 and hit 1R at 19:12. I closed 23.5 lots for $448.85 profit. To reserve capital, I also move SL to the above the latest Banana Candle. The trade stopped out at 19:19 for $292.02 loss.  The net profit was $156.83.

End of Batch 2 Review
1. After this batch, I understood the relationship between the Setup 1 and Setup 2 with the Banana Signals.
2. This understanding helps me trusting the Banana Signal Method more.
3. I also realized that Banana on 1M suites my personality the best, because I love fast moving action.
4. This batch also teaches me that any instrument can work perfectly. But for me, the US100 and US30 are the best.
5. After this batch, I will open another FTMO Trial Account and trade only the Banana Signals to help master the Banana Method.
6. I also found that in trading the Banana Signal, momentum is the most important factor.

As in the end of Batch #2, I changed the AIMS Signal to Banana Signal in M5. But keep it in M1.

dont wait for my instruction. this is your decision to take. both methods work and you have choice to make.
