Re: Emma´s T20 Journal
Hi Emma
I have been watching and hoping you would be back again soon, lovely to read your journey update.
Well done on continuing to move forward, its not always easy to keep digging deep and juggling this profession along with family.
You have asked the question we all confront, "do I keep going".
For me it would be easy to give up, but always wondering if the break through was just around the corner would be the hard part.
Keep going, we are all here to support each other and create a greater life for us all.
All the best
Vicky

Review and trades of batch 1 H1
Review of Batch 1 trading H1I have been trading H1 for a while now and the trades are rare. I have missed some trades but i am getting better and better on being as objective as i can.I made one major misstake this batch. I placed a trade before major news. I had only noted news and missed to also note that it was NFP. Lesson learned.Altough the batch have taken a long time it have been easy. I have had my rules and guidelines and have taken the trades and manage the trades according to my managing rules.
About the result.
+5R ( would have been 7 R without the news misstake)
Winrate 65%
Ds score 95%The result is OK. Will i do anything different in the coming batch?
No, no major change. I will be better at checking every hour. Sometime life comes in the way.
That is the one thing that could be in´mproved, some more trades.
I will continue to do what works for me.
I am VERY happy that i made the descicion to trade H1 only. I can do this for a very long time.
Here are the trades.

So is that 6R's from this batch? It amazes me still that the strategy always produces near 5-10R per batches with 33/33/33 win / loss / be ratings. It must be working. It must be good. and I know it is, because that's what I do , day in, day out.

Re: Emma´s T20 Journal
Hi Minsk!
I hope you are doing well.
I have a very straightforward and simple way to validate my trades.
1. The price is away from the emas. I use 50 for overall trend.
2. HTF HAVE to had a impuls and pullback to the trading direction, CTF EMAS touched ( minimizes countertrend trades and leave ot the "reading momentum stuff as i have noticed that i cant do that)
3. When the HTF pullback is broken i can look for a trade on the CTF. (and when HTF price goes inside the 10 ema i consider the HTF box as the levels that needs to be broken.
4. MAX 5 ( sometimes 6, but not for a seed) candles in the impuls and max 5 candle pullback. Same or less count of the P. example TP, TTP, TTTPP,TTTTP and so on. The impuls is valid with 1 seed in it as well. They dont have to be trendcandles all of them but i need them to be consecutive)
And then some common rules as
- Not too big entry candle.
- Do not enter before NFP, CPI or FOMC.
I focus less on climatic. I also focus less on levels and more of the waves of the market.
- Entry candle should not be on the other side och on 10 EMA. ( if the imouls is climatic the candle usually go past 10 EMA)
- Only the first or the second pullback after emas was touching.
- I am allowed to take a seed in the impuls after the second pullback, but within the 1,2,3 first candles as the move is gone soon probably.
I think thats it.
his is the 100% objective plan i have been working on for myself to be confident when setting po´s. i have tried my best to eliminate the guesswork.
dont need to feel och sense anything and it is easy to follow for me.
