Paul, you're right. I didn't realize that, because I have the forex calender in my chart only for EUR and USD relevant medium and high impacts . Shame on me, had to google who Mervyn King might be.
Did the Cable drop ? And thus helped the ÚSD up and therefor EUR down ???
