Stocks/shares charting program

Unread post by Dave »

Hi everyone, hope you've all enjoyed a few days off over Christmas.

I am hoping to start monitoring US/UK and Aus stocks during 2013 on a daily timeframe and using AIMS or Bill Williams indicators for entry signals. I know that I can't get stock price feeds through MT4 and I'm finding it difficult to get the necessary indicators for a reputable platform such as NinjaTrader. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions? As a last resort I can buy the study program and indicators from Profitunity but its a hefty outlay to 'learn' a system that is AIMS and for what is essentially paper trading at the moment.

Thanks, Dave

Problem solved, NinjaTrader did the job. If anyone wants the indicators I can post them here (they're not AIMS but are Bill Williams so do the job).

Thanks Immy, I'll check that out too. I'm finding NT a bit clunky so MT4 is preferred.

Ninja trader, in my opinion, is not a very friendly and easy to use as compared to mt4 or may be its just because i'm so used to mt4. The fact that i can see all sorts of markets using mt4 these days is fantastic. So check it on mt4 and take trades on mt4 if available on spread betting otherwise go to IG Index and put the trade there. Its higher time frames anyway, so there is plenty of time to put a trade and 30 min a day is enough for D1 trading. But daily and above for me, in my opinion is investing and though I like it very much, I have fully invested my self in my m1/m5 strategy. The plan is that I will continue to do it like that during 2013. I personally have invested in some companies, i mean physical ones, with friends and family, i think those share prices are moving more steadily, with good dividends (profits) the only difference is not everyone is invited to buy into those companies... (u get my drift? ) haha

just chillin doing nothing! so I thought I'll write something!

hope you are all having a great weekend! Enjoy!

I'll post a picture of a Stock that could have made us some money trading on MT4 GKFX. Just an example for now.
