Problem with meta trader
Hi,
I dont know if anyone else has experienced same problem but when I use this VE_AIMS to set up my stop loss or take profit when the chart hit my stop loss it just passes the stop loss line and carry on and i have to close it manually.
Does anyone know what going on?

Re: Problem with meta trader
Hi
There could be many possibilities. But most importantly, do you see the Red Dashed lined under the moveable maroon line of stop loss? IT may be that it never put a stop loss. So do keep an eye on the actual dashed line that shows broker has a stop loss order. the marron line above is the mask, where ever you move this to, the EA instructs the terminal a certain price level to set your stop loss based on the value of the line displayed on the y axis on the right hand column.
please check.

Re: Problem with meta trader
Michal, I have faced ve_aims problems where SL and TP is not updated correctly. Sometimes SL jumping in the chart. The reason was the ve_aims was included in many charts and it confused the EA. So, please make sure that ve_aims is attached only to one chart at a time.
Kind regards, Tomi

Different currencies dont matter, you can use it on all currencies as long as you have one mt4 running per account and one EA per currency per chart. e.g. if you have it on m5 and M1 of EU, then it will conflict each other. both the lines of both the charts will keep sending conflicting orders to broker, resulting in flickering SL levels. But if you have one on GU and another on EU it does not create conflict. Some times, if you bring SL too close to price level, depending on your broker, you broker might not allow you to bring SL too close to market price. Alpari is 3 pips. Some horrible brokers have 7-10 pips. So in that case the red dashed does not move closer to market price. This EA moves SL/ PO and TP to wherever you place the horizontal colour coded lines. So if you have it on two charts and the values of the lines is different on both charts of same currency no matter same time frame or different both the lines will fight over it.
I hope it makes sense. This has been explained many times in this forum before btw.
