Trade Entry/Management EA - EASY ORDER Amended

Unread post by Topher »

Admin Edit:
Thanks to Richard for spotting and sharing this EA. The original coder has now deleted his post on Forex factory but don't you worry, a STAR AIMSter has taken it many steps further ahead. Thanks to Darren we have a working and updated version of similar EA available and doing a great job. Thank you Darren. ^:)^ :ymcowboy:

The Latest EA now Available in this Post by Darren http://www.itradeaims.net/forum/viewtop ... =56&t=1203

Thought i would share the greatest trading tool I have come across for MT4. It is a trade entry and trade management ea, it works similar to VE Aims i.e. drag sl and tp lines to suit your trade. It's greatest feature in my opinion is its ability to automatically select the corect position size for your given risk and sl (you define the % you want to risk per trade and as you move your sl prior to the trade being triggered and the position size automatically changes.

I use it all the time on M1 as it is great at quickly getting into a trade at the correct risk level.

It also allows you to position the entry, sl and tp levels and drag these around your chart. Not until you press the 'Activate Lines' button will a trade be triggered if it hits your entry.

There are a whole host of other features such as tp1,2&3, trailling stops etc.

The link below will take you Forex Factory where you can download the files and get a better idea of how it works.

Hope some of you find it of use.

Richard

Hi Richard,

thanks a lot for the tip. This seems to be a holy grail TM EA. Didn't try every feature yet, but I do really like it. Best thing for me is, that it automatically moves SL and TP if you move the entry. Some behaviour is still a little dubious, but I have to read more of the thread I think.

Perfect !

Such a pity to hear that it was deleted. I mean, the poster shared an amazing piece of work and freemongers messed it up by asking stupid questions again and again. Its amazing to see most of the people in the world don't really know how to behave in a respectful and acceptable manner. No wonder the worlds resources are in the hands of a select few who are highly disciplined. (its a different matter what their motives are but nothing can be achieved without high discipline. e.g. drugs dealers are more organised than police in many cases) I know some of us have the original piece in good shape! Bettina is using it! Good weekend people!

Hi, I'm working with version 8.
I'm really content and no severe bugs kown.
But descriptions from the website are helpful, otherwise you really have to try out the behaviour in the strategy tester.

We were talking about trade entry scripts in the chat room and I mentioned that I came across this one on Forex Factory. I will post it here as an alternative to Richards one. It is a very simple trade entry script/dll that allows you to set your risk and press new order. It then places a line each for entry price, SL and TP which you can move before clicking on submit order. It then places your PO with the correct risk and allows you to move the SL and TP lines dynamically. It seems to work quite well :)

oh yes Darren, I found it long time ago and it crashed my MT4, so did not use it, and now I downloaded again, works fine. Very nice. Thanks for sharing. Simplicity always the best.

EasyOrder plug-in is an instant +1

I have used it a long time. (Actually I have custom hacked version that does some automatic stuff, but the basic functions are the same). Now that new metatrader build is having (finally) a feature that you can drag SL/entry/TP lines I start using EasyOrder only for entering trades = calculating lot size on the fly. It's an excellent plug-in and shared with the source code. +1 for that.
